Darline was born and raised in the Albuquerque surrounding areas and has been providing care and services for community members for about 20 years. Darline holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in social work as well as associate's degrees in human services, integrated studies, and liberal arts.
Darline's population specialty includes individuals on the Autism spectrum as well as those with other developmental and intellectual exceptionalities. She also has extensive experience working with primary school-aged children. Her preferred therapeutic modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Experiential Therapy, such as Play and Adventure Therapy combined with a strength's-based approach. She has a firm belief that everyone has the strengths to accomplish goals and/or overcome difficult experiences, and she feels truly honored when the opportunity arises to help others explore and discover what those strengths are and use them to build resilience and fortitude.
