Jesusita VillaLobos

Jesusita VillaLobos is the head of La Guadalupe Apothecary at the B.Ruppe, a curandera, herbalist, spiritual guide, and comprehensive community support worker. She is a long-time New Mexico resident with her familial roots in Chihuahua, Mexico. She comes from immigrant parents who taught her what they learned growing up and all that they recalled about their knowledge of food and medicine. She has had a lifetime of learning on her own through growing food, rescuing animals, and using herbs to heal herself and those around her.

For 10 years she has been serving many in the community, installing edible landscapes across New Mexico, and rescuing hundreds of animals in need. Jesusita wants to bring back traditions of community through platicas, herbal medicine, ritual, and spiritual guidance. She looks forward to hearing your traditions and stories, and is ready to lend an ear, hand, meal, or prayer for anyone who wants or needs it.
