Kevin Frick

Counselor, MA LPCC

Kevin has served in the fields of public education, community mental health, addiction recovery, adolescent crisis management, experiential outdoor therapeutics, and private practice for over 25 years.  Kevin’s work focuses on helping underserved populations, young people, and those struggling with addiction and personality disorders build resiliency through relationships, purpose, and personal rituals and ceremony.  Kevin graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling from Prescott College and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Fairmont State College and is a licensed counselor and educator in the state of New Mexico.   



Kevin works from a person-centered approach, incorporating various aspects of narrative therapy, CBT, ecotherapy, and Jungian techniques in his practice. Kevin does speciality work in photographic therapy, utilizing photography as a healing tool. Kevin believes that we all have special gifts to offer the world, and through healthy relationships, gratitude, and honoring of self, we can see the world and ourselves with new eyes and go forth to share our gifts.  

Kevin prides himself as the father of two wonderful young adults, an avid explorer, and a published and award-winning nature photographer and writer.
